STUDENTS AGAINST ANIMAL SUFFERING - University of California, San Diego

Dedicated to the care of all animals. May all beings be free of suffering.

No one wants to hurt animals. We all wish their world could be different, but we often don't realize what impact our personal choices have on the animals, as well as on the environment and our own health. We can either be cruel or kind, and it is easier now than ever before to make compassionate decisions, from the food we eat and the clothes we wear to the toothpaste and bleach we buy. Whether you eat a meat-based diet, or are vegetarian or vegan, there are always actions you can take to help the animals. They need us now more than ever, in whatever way you can help.

Ask them to contact the National Marine Fisheries Service and ask that they reinstall the rops protecting the seals, at least during pupping season, and uphold the Marine Mammal Protection Act.

Also write letters to your Representative, local newspapers, national media, and anyone else who will listen.
